I am a Newhouse Public Relations student at Syracuse University focused on turning complex technology into something people actually understand and choose. I am personable, driven, and always evolving, with a strong interest in where communication and emerging technology meet.
Ever since I was a kid I have been obsessed with technology. Apple product launches, tech unboxings, and the pace of the industry kept me constantly paying attention. In 8th grade I saved every penny I had working at Dunkin' to buy an iPhone and start a YouTube channel called Tech Kid where I talked about product launches and features.
I later went all in on football. Coming from Southern Maine, Division I was a long shot, but I committed fully. I attended St. Paul's School in New Hampshire, which was rigorous both academically and athletically. Being around students from all over the world pushed me to think differently and work harder.
I earned a preferred walk-on at Syracuse, played for over a year as a defensive lineman, was All-Academic ACC, and competed on the scout team against the first string offense. My teammates came from very different backgrounds and that shaped how I see the world.
I stepped away from football to figure out what I actually wanted to do. A week later I started posting on TikTok and reached 54 million views in three months, but the content I was making did not feel like me.
Studying abroad in London gave me space to think about what I actually want to build. I got more interested in how people across different countries use and interpret technology, and I want to keep building that perspective.
While abroad I focused on my health and lost a significant amount of weight using ChatGPT for structure. That experience made me think more seriously about where technology helps and where it still falls short.
It led me to write a PMM case study on OpenAI entering the health and wellness space, covering product gaps, user experience, and opportunities for growth. Around the same time I worked on a go-to-market project for an AI company expanding into the UK.
Now I am focused on building at the intersection of communications, technology, and product marketing. I am on the PR team at Zipped Magazine working on content, brand outreach, and social media strategy. I enjoy writing and I am working on blog content exploring how to explain technology in a way that builds trust.
Outside of school I have always been interested in architecture and interior design. After a house fire in high school I helped my mom redesign our home and that interest stuck. I spend a lot of time thrifting and have a particular interest in Japanese denim and quality pieces built to last.
I stay consistent in the gym and with my diet, which has become a big outlet for me since leaving sports. I am also working on becoming fluent in German and hope to spend more time in Europe.
I have been around people from small towns, global boarding schools, and under-resourced communities, and each of those environments shaped how I think about communication and technology.
I plan to study abroad again in my junior year, either in Berlin or Sydney, and pursue a tech internship while I am there. I want to understand how different cultures interpret and trust technology, and how communication strategies shift across markets.
I care about technology and want to help it move in the right direction through clear and honest communication. I am looking for hands-on opportunities where I can keep learning and building.
